DelaineyYesterday, Delainey came running up to me crying because she hurt her armpit. I knelt down to kiss her and I said, "I'm sorry baby girl. I hope it feels better." She quit crying and looked at me and said, "Its not your fault momma. I hit my armpit jumping on you bed."
IsaacWhile accompanying me on a swim suit shopping trip. "Mom, you look real beautiful in everything but that bathing suit makes you look like Minnie Mouse."
DelaineyStanding on top of the rocking horse instead of sitting. "Delainey, sit down before you hurt yourself!" "Not yet momma, I being dangerous."
Isaac"Mom, who was your favorite Mayor?"
"I don't really know any Mayors buddy."
"You have never heard of any of the mayors? Like George Washington? The guy who won the Civil war? (He was completely serious and dumbfounded that I was so clueless.)
I replied, "those are presidents Ise, and George Washington wasn't around for the civil war."
DelaineyLast night, the kids and went to the park after the pool. I was pushing Delainey on the swings while Isaac played on the playground structure. He slipped and banged his head on the beam over the slide and started to cry. Delainey turned around in her swing and shouted, "Momma, get over there and save my Bubby!"
