Delainey Doodle had her Christmas recital this week. She was so excited and looked so adorable in the cute little Christmas tree leotard I made for her, thank you Pinterest! I guess I should have tried it on her before we got to the recital since it was a little big around her leg area and her panties kept hanging out. To make matters worse, she refused to take off her socks and instead pulled them up as high as they would go! She is definitely my child.
Here is her class all ready to dance! The Christmas recital is really informal, they save the big recital for the spring. These ladies are all three and four and just started taking ballet in August. They all did such a great job and were such a joy to watch!
Unfortunately, our sweet dance teacher, Mrs Kate, is moving early next year to Germany so this was our last performance with her. We wish her the very best on her new adventures but we are going to miss her so much. She is such an amazing lady that has the patience of a Saint and is never without a smile and a kind word!
